Wow, I am almost ashamed of myself. On August 31, it will have been one FULL YEAR since the last time I blogged. *Smacks self on hand* I can not believe I let myself slip. All those great recipes over the past year were not documented or shared with my fellow food lovers.
Well, this has to change. You ask, 'Why now Lil Chef? Why decide to go back to your blogging ways instead of keeping your nose in your cookbooks?' Because I miss documenting amazing recipes and reliving that experience again and again through my verbal cooking and baking. And I missed you too. ^_^
Another reason would be the sign that I had the other day. There are people who believe in signs and those who do not. I am one of the believers. I was simply making french toast sticks, when to my shock, I cracked one of the eggs that held a double yolk. I have NEVER gotten an egg with a double yolk before! The reason is probably due to the fact that most of these eggs are kept back from the public due to lighting technology that allows one to view the shadows within the egg and thus discard the abnormal. I say, free the double yolks! Let the cooks of America have their luck! We need it now a days!
My whole blabbing about this is because I feel that things will really start looking up for me and my family. And of course my cooking. Who could go wrong?
So this week, I will be dropping a new blog segment called 'Would you eat at my house?' It will hopefully be coming weekly, depending on the circumstances and Lil Bits mood. I am so excited.
The first segment is Pork Schnitzel with a sour cream sauce and Parmesan noodles. Desert, Pecan Fingers, courtesy of Miss Betty Crocker, circa 1965. Be prepared to drool. I know I am.
Until then, I am going to go eat a bomb pop.
